Tinder is one of the most famous dating apps which also works for tranny hookups. Although it is not an LGBT-only service, you don’t have to worry about the lack of possibilities. Everyone’s on Tinder and if you play your cards right, you’ll get the prize.
Pros
- It is user-friendly and takes a few minutes to start and search for tranny dates.
- You can sync your Instagram and Spotify to open up a bit more.
- The algorithm grounds on your location, gender preferences, and age.
- Verification by phone number protects you from fakes.
- Boosts and super-likes increase chances for pleasant communication.
- Available for iOS and Android.
Cons
- A comparatively small transgender audience.
- If you swipe left, you are likely to lose a potential lover forever unless you pay to get them back.
- Some people don’t take this app seriously, it is common to browse profiles for fun, like attractive users, and never take it any further.
- Members can change their locations and impersonate themselves for you to waste your time on them.
To start your hunt sign up, verify your personality, upload photos, write something catchy, and swipe for a hot match. Get ready for some hardcore ghosting but don’t let it discourage you. Tinder is responsible for thousands of happy-endings, and I know it firsthand.

Among numerous transgender dating apps, Pure is my favorite. This app is one of the most open-minded services good enough for all genders with numerous cool features to sing love songs about. It is seriously sexy and people use it for a reason.
Pros
- Complete confidentiality with no personal data revealed.
- One of the most suitable options for those who browse for “transgender dating apps free.”
- Secure and safe communication through self-destructed chat, including voice messages, and you are able to send photos.
- Straightforward approach: everyone comes to explore sexuality and try something new. In most cases, they are seeking something wild and casual, safe and inspiring.
- LGBTQ community is rumored to be nuts about this.
- It is considered to be the most working tranny dating app even though muggles are present.
- Available for iPhone, Android and Web.
Cons
- As a man, you have to pay to start chatting.
- Some locations are scarcely populated.
To enjoy the most attractive design and the fastest matches, login, upload your photo or just write a text punch-line and start looking for people who have the same kinks as you do within more than 150,000 users who are online daily. Besides that, you are going in for the safest way to communicate with each other. Pure believes that private life should stay private, so I would rather suggest keeping your chat in the Pure than going elsewhere.
And don’t worry about 24-hour chat rules, if you are both into each other but just not ready to meet-up in person yet, you can send a request to turn off chat timer by tapping on the collar in the right top corner of the chat screen to continue talking. If your chat partner accepts the request, you can chat as long as you want in Pure.

Grindr is ridiculously popular among the LGBT community but gays and transgenders are making the best out of it. If you don’t want to spend the night alone but can’t be bothered to hunt IRL, Grindr is your go-to app. But if you’re looking for love or some transgender dating you, you’ll have to search elsewhere.
Pros
- No ads.
- Photo editor to make your pride shine.
- Tribes to make your search work.
- Meager price to make your spirit rise.
- Well-known as a ftm dating app.
Cons
- Mostly negative reviews: people say they want this service to stop working.
- You can get banned without an explanation.
- Fake accounts to steal your money.
- Crime and sexual harassment reported daily.
- It suits only for people identifying themselves as males.
Everything is individual. I personally had some fun using Grindr but some people find receiving a dickpick instead of a hello offensive. To sign up, you have to provide the service with your info, specify your preferences, upload a pic, and start browsing your local matches. You don’t need to confirm your email, but verifying your photo is a must.

Love is a flame that cannot be tamed, and this transgender dating app offers a lot of benefits. OkCupid is known for being a hidden gem of the LGBT crowd and finding a tranny partner via the service is more than possible.
Pros
- Twelve genders and twenty orientations.
- Numerous questions for a vivid picture of you and to get detailed profiles.
- You can sign up via Facebook.
- No ads.
Cons
- Users come for relationships, so the service is not likely to be a trans hookup app.
- Slim chances of a match in a small town.
- Most of the users identify themselves as males, which results in unequal gender representation.
- Insulting fakes.
Sign up, answer questions, and start searching for romance. You’ll only need 10 minutes to get in touch if you’re not too picky. Messaging is free and there are a lot of options to choose from. Some people say the app is no longer trendy but I’m positive that OkCupid is a solid option for those who look for relationships and long-term tranny dating.

Plenty of Fish has been around for a while. The app is popular among male users and welcomes users with different backgrounds and sexual preferences. It names itself as one of trans friendly dating apps to free users’ inner-self.
Pros
- Voice messages to know your potential partner better.
- You can hide your account.
- “Meet Me” option to gain more popularity.
- You can see who has viewed your profile and read messages.
- A compatibility test detects potential lovers.
Cons
- Muggles rule the world with an insignificant transgender audience.
- Most of the functions are available only for the upgraded paid accounts.
- Matchmaking based on your answers is far from being perfect.
- Too many questions require answers.
If you want to play a risky game of little fish in the sea, foresee the story: you will sign up, get through loads of questions, upload your photos and start searching with compatibility advice. And eventually, end up with not that quality matches. Instead, I would use Pure. The app is more straightforward and has way more open-minded people than POF.

Her claims to be the largest app for queer women and no man is allowed on that territory. Transgender people, however, are welcomed. Not only the app is good for transgender dating but it also plays the role of a social media site, so you can use it to speak your mind and share your struggles with fellow queer ladies.
Pros
- Unlimited free messages.
- Active social accounts linked to your profile.
- Shows events in your area to meet friends and lovers.
- Gains popularity as a transsexual date app.
Cons
- Only friends and matches can message you.
- App has a lot of drawbacks and bugs.
- No verifications, loads of trolls and impersonators.
- It is focused on those who identify themselves as females.
The app takes your Facebook or Instagram page and takes care of creating an account to choose your kind of woman from many candidates. If you don’t mind that matching algorithms do the job for you, give Her a try. But don’t get your hopes too high: the userbase is still small and the app is blocked in many homophobic countries.

The mission of the Jack’D app is to celebrate diversity in the world of gay, bisexual, and queer people. All kinds of relations are welcome. All body types, backgrounds, and kinks are alright. And you don’t have to pay to enjoy all the benefits of this curious transgender dating site.
Pros
- Up to five pictures to upload.
- Favorite list not to get handsome chaps missed.
- Almost 50% of users are here for friends, not for relations or casual fun. Or so they say.
- The service is perfect for people of color.
Cons
- Negative reviews with dozens of people claiming “the app deserves less than a single star.”
- The app is buggy.
- Some functions don’t work at all.
- To get a password and protect your privacy, you need to pay.
- The audience tends to kiss this service goodbye.
To join the global audience of Jack’D, you need to spend a minute: pass the image test to prove you are not a machine, drop some words about yourself, and start looking for your dream lover. The app is good enough for trans dating but I could do with more variety.

The ambition of this woman-empowering app is to make “to bee or not to bee (loved)?” not just a question. Bumble tries its best to keep up with times and even offers you 20+ gender identities to choose from. But despite being LGBT-friendly, the queer audience is not in the majority on Bumble. But you’ll get a higher chance to meet a tranny date in a bigger city.
Pros
- Designed for bee-lovers and promises to show them a user-friendly approach.
- Immediate matching suggestions based on your likes.
- Free messaging for everybody.
- Re-match option to connect with your expired partners.
Cons
- Mostly muggles around.
- Trans people leave mostly negative reviews.
- The timeframe on connections is 24 hours to keep you here all day and all night.
Trans-friendly dating apps work as a feminist service with a nice matching algorithm to sign up via Facebook. If you are a woman, you can search for some honey. However, if you are still not ready to settle down for one specific gender but prefer to look around, Pure is what you are looking for. The app will connect you only with people in your location. With more than 500,000 active users you will not feel bored at all.

Transgender friendly dating apps can be free. A queer lovechild of Bumble and Tinder for those who identify themselves as boys and want to get boys only.
Pros
- Quick registration to get your matches hot with Facebook to give others a vivid look.
- The roulette system offers potential candidates according to your current location.
- No fakes [as the advertisement claim.]
- Straightforward attitude for every person: Sexy and Cute labels to show what you are looking for.
Cons
- Smartphone discrimination — good user experience is only for iPhones, which keeps Android owners lonely.
- You can use it only if you have Facebook.
- This app focuses on gay relations, so it exclusively fits for queers who identify themselves as males.
- Tinder, is this you?
The matching algorithm and design are very similar to Tinder. All you need to register is your Facebook profile and a few minutes of your time. Gays say they are ok with the app, but transgender people are not too crazy about the Chappy app.

Happn is one of these conceptual trans-friendly dating apps which promise you to get some real-life action. Basically, the app gives you another chance to try your luck with the people you’ve met IRL (in the coffee shop, gym, train, or wherever) but were too shy to get in touch with.
Pros
- Upload up to nine photos.
- You can sync your Instagram to get your audience bigger and your Spotify to show your exceptional taste.
- See who has liked you.
- Voice messages help seduce your crush.
- “Crush Time” game to bring attractive people you have crossed your paths with to your door.
- “I’m up for” status to reveal your playful intentions to others.
Cons
- If you want to search, you need to take your purse out.
- Lots of ads, which disappear only with a paid subscription.
- Matches come into your life depending on your routes with no wise choice as a result.
- Notorious for stalkers’ invasion.
It is easy to start your encounter with Facebook or phone number registration and a few facts and preferences to tell. Ready, steady, go. Now you can match with that cute guy that walks a dog in the park. Well, only if he also uses Happn.

Though this service is not LGBTQ-focused, it is advertised as one of trans friendly dating apps not to break your heart. The app is only meant for serious relationships, so keep your kinky thoughts on the leash and get ready to meet the love of your life.
Pros
- No swipes: the interest forms by likes and comments with no need to pull yourself together for a cursed first direct message to start an awkward chat.
- Location and preferences can be changed whenever you want.
- The information is divided into Virtues, Vitals, and Vices, which is funny and compelling at the same time.
- “Most Compatible” matching service works as a comparatively quick delivery of fresh potential lovers.
Cons
- Chargeless filter opportunities are ordinary.
- Users you are not interested in can appear again.
- Tons of questions require answers during the signup process.
- Transgender people are rare guests here.
If you are not scared by fat chances of finding another trans person to hold on to, overcome dozens of intriguing and provocative questions to benefit from this user experience with modern design and pretty good matching algorithms.

A comprehensive transgender dating site, which claims it works as lovers’ tide inside the transgender world. It has a confusing payment system and a bunch of special offers. Are they actually useful? It depends on what you’re looking for. Their adult movie service is worth a try though.
Pros
- You rule the world controlling all and everything: people see the flirts they have sent, who has hot listed them, what profiles they have viewed, and so on.
- Express yourself in a blog.
- A real print magazine devoted to the community.
- Hot webcams to please you with their charms.
- It can be used as a transvestite dating app.
Cons
- A free member cannot see other profiles.
- Lots of fakes.
- Too many functions that might distract your attention.
- Hard to use on a smartphone.
- Gold members are not likely to meet standard users.
TS Dates can offer you a smart interface and a quick registration which means filling a few lines about yourself plus a pic. Then you start searching with no machine to make decisions. TS Dates is good enough, but as for me, it is not the app to obsess over.

- All genders are welcomed on board: one of the real trans-friendly dating apps.
- “Lucky Cards” with the real chances of getting a neighbor to chat.

- No adds.
Cons
- Only 3 hours to start a chat.
- All the reviews we have found online were negative.
- Muggles significantly outnumber wizards in this sex universe.
- Swept away are swept forever and ever.
This app is advertised as an appealing one with a catchy design and tasty tinder-like matching system. You upload your pic and swipe in your location with lots of people waiting for good intercourse — not the best one with your luck as the essential weapon.

Transgndr is a younger brother of TG Personals, an old and trustworthy site to find somebody cool inside the community. The best thing about it is that you can use it for free.
Pros
- You can use filters to get only truly interesting results.
- A cool option of adding friends and crushes to different lists.
- Popular as a ts hookup app
- Roulette-type search for partners.
Cons
- No safety guarantee with scammers digging for money and muggles who try to spy on you.
- One of transgender dating apps for iPhone, Android app is a trap.
- Mostly negative reviews to frighten your inner muse.
- Users say it is not the best transgender dating app for it is much worse than the site.
To start using this application, you have to sign up. Provide the details about your gender and the gender of your potential partner, the age range you are much into and the type of relations you want to find. Then drop a few words about yourself, upload photos, and turn your voyage on.
Speaking of scammers, if you’d love to avoid them, you might also want to consider Pure. It has zero fake accounts as members are more focused on meet-ups offline than keep it online forever.

TS Scene is not a mobile app, but the reviewers claim this site can be comfortable to use on the go to get some hot love show, so here we are to let it on the scene. Although I personally hate the services that do not have an app. Creating a perfect dating app is an art, just take a look at Pure to get some ideas.
Pros
- Dull cisgenders are promised to be kept at bay.
- There are options to identify oneself as a TS, TV, TG man, woman, or even a couple.
- One can send flirts and messages to other members.
- New profiles are shown on the main page daily.
- You can find users by their names.
- “Rapid Match” function which shows the nearest and the dearest trans people in your location.
Cons
- It can be regarded mostly as a trans hookup app with no-strings-attached kind of relations.
- The insignificant number of users.
- The ambition of the service promises the beauties only to take your breath away. In reality, you keep on blocking.
- Lots of advertisements based on your location.
Though its visual concept is not stylish, the service is easy and comfortable to use, especially if you can afford it. You sign up, confirm your profile, fill in, upload your pics, search on your own with no robot to help you, start your first casual talk and feel the need to upgrade not to waste your time away.

One of the most popular tinder-like transgender dating apps to get full-time and to broadcast your sexuality into the world. And it works globally.
Pros
- Here you face no muggles to mess around.
- You can show your joyful moments of life and share them with other trans people.
- Left for the wrong, right for the strong.
- Profiles are rumored to be manually revised.
Cons
- The app crashes too often, especially while loading photos.
- Users get greatly disappointed by the lack of real people and the massive number of fakes trying to get your email and other personal information to benefit.
- Subscription is auto-renewed, and it is hard to change it or turn it down.
- It is blamed for showing fake reviews on the App Store.
This trans dating app has the same algorithm as Tinder and a suitable design for a pleasant user experience. - There are video chats available.
Cons

Match is a veteran of dating apps. Although it is not a niche app, transgender dating via Match is possible. You’ll have to spend more time fishing out suitable profiles but the result can surprise you.
Pros

That could be one confusing bummer.

- It claims to be free of charge but it is not.
- There are no mobile apps available.
The TransDate seems to be legit and quite popular on the scene. Yet there are rumors that the website has a lot of scammers. Also, it seems to be free yet you will have to get yourself a premium paid membership if you want to continue and explore more.

Many of my friends find TransgenderDate brilliant. I personally not a fan of its design but apart from that, it is a decent transgender dating site. It is safe and private but has no mobile app which is always a huge disappointment. Who uses laptops to date anyway?
Pros
- Video and audio chats are available for you.
- It is totally free of charge.
- The users are very active and quickly respond to messages.
- Profiles are visible to everyone and they are quite detailed.
Cons
- The design and functionality are old and not really attractive.
- There is no Facebook signup that could lead to a lot of fake accounts.
- The are no mobile apps available to download.
In general, the TransgenderDate is a good and open place where you can meet new people. The platform doesn’t pose itself as the one to look for one type of relationship. Users here are open to everything. The most pleasant thing is that the features here are completely free and there are chat rooms available.
But things might get more complicated due to the absence of mobile apps. We are all on the move daily and more attached to our phones rather than desktop computers. In that case, Pure will be more suitable for you. Easy to use and navigate, plus it has more users to meet with.

What I like about TSMingle is that I don’t need to pay for it and neither do you. What I didn’t like so much is that there is almost no action happening there. The service is not in high demand but for some people that’s a good thing. The fewer people use the site the more attention you get.
Pros
- 100% free to all users.
- It has active members.
- Users can send and receive messages.
- One can check who has viewed their profile.
- Blogs are available for members to be updated on what’s happening in the transgender world.
Cons
- Compared to other sites, it has fewer members.
- Since it’s a free site, anyone can register on it, even teenagers.
- People can fake their personality when registering on this site as there is no means of detecting falsehood.
To sum app, the TS Mingle is a good platform to meet new people and find relationships. It is free to use and seems to have a lot of users. Yet once you compare it to other websites, it doesn’t seem to have many members.

Amazing platform to meet your soulmate. Trans4Date is a decent service that helps transgender women all over the world find a good match. If you’re tired of meaningless hookups and ready to settle, try your luck on Trans4Date. It is free anyway.
Pros
- The registration is available through the Facebook account that will protect you from the fake accounts.
- The platform is secure and makes a lot of effort to get rid of the scammers and old accounts that are no longer active.
Cons
- Pop-up ads are annoying all the time. There are a lot of those on this website.
- There are no mobile apps available to get.
- The customer support is on the low lever.
Overall, the website is neat and pleasant to look at and use. Very easy to navigate and it has a very simple registration that will take only a couple of minutes and it is also available to connect your Facebook account.

Claims to have the biggest transgender user pool. One of the newest and hottest transgender dating apps on the market, Transdr is good for looking love and something less serious. The user pool is big enough but you’re in more luck if you are from the US.
Pros
- Transdr dating app is beautifully designed. Its interface is very user-friendly.
- Its membership fee is affordable.
- Transdr is a brand new dating app but has the biggest transgender dating community in the world.
Cons
- Everyone on this app has to pay a VIP membership fee in order to contact others.
Transdr has one of the biggest user pool with real transgenders that are looking for open-minded and free people to meet and build something more. Even though you have to get yourself a membership the price is affordable.
Trans dating online challenges
Unfortunately, it’s common for cis-people on dating apps to have a major phobia of trans daters — so much that my trans friends aren’t sure whether they should specify their nature in the bio.
If you choose mainstream free hookup apps instead of a trans-only platform, these are the challenges to embrace and deal with.
Challenge #1. Lack of acceptance
Although hookup apps like Tinder have become considerably more inclusive, you are not safe from people’s personal biases and prejudices. If you get blocked or banned on a dating app, don’t take it personally; rather, contact customer support to have your account back on the platform.
To spare yourself hard feelings, you can either sign up for platforms that have a “trans” filter — this way, you will not face people who mind this type of relationship — or go for websites that help trans daters connect with each other. Pure would be one of those platforms. You don’t have to fear for your own safety, so you can be as open as you want. No judgments there. Only pure joy.
Challenge #2. Bedroom issues
Looking for hookups as a trans dater might be a challenge, as a lot of people are bothered by the genital issue. To make sure the partner is not disappointed when you meet face-to-face, I would recommend discussing the technicalities of the hook up over texts or a video chat.
Other than that, I’d suggest a couple of sexting sessions before moving to face-to-face action. Once the partner understands that you are hot and look like a good bang, getting together for an actual hookup will be a piece cake.
Challenge #3. Having to answer a lot of questions
When I say it, I mean it. As a declared trans dater lurking on the best free hookup apps, you will have to answer a lot of questions: from thinking-about-going-trans cis-daters, people who have a fetish on transgenders, or parents whose kids are contemplating the choice.
Since most of us don’t come to dating apps to run a gender education workshop, having to deal with questions on a daily basis will get on your nerves. On the other hand, my trans friend once told me this:
“I was really annoyed with all these questions from people! However, at the end of the day, I understand that spreading gender awareness is my mission and I would be happy to have someone answer my questions as I was making this choice. Now I am happy about the way things are and enjoy others taking an interest in my lifestyle”.
I guess, at the end of the day, dealing with other people’s interests is not as much of a challenge as it’s a matter of open-mindedness.
The good news is, there are plenty of trans dating apps out there: in the list offered below, you will find the best app for hookups as a trans in no time.
Next step: the paradise of transgender dating apps
Now you have learned about the best and the worst of 29 trans dating apps. Each of them has something unique to give. It is up to you to decide which one to take and to make it real loud. Hold on tight and try! We do believe the magic of gender is to be celebrated in loving arms.
Pure — platform with no bots and fakes: best trans hookup app
In Pure, the algorithm will delete your account an hour after you start searching for a partner. If you match, you have another hour to talk in the chat — then it will also be automatically deleted. This makes the service inaccessible and uninteresting for bots, fakes, and crooks. Pure users are alive personalities who do not hide their desires and want to find a partner in the next hour.

Yea, POF is not a good option. Very transphobic. You’re profile/account will only be up for a few days before some jerk reports you for any given reason and POF will delete your account without any hesitation or investigation. You cannot appeal this either.
Wrong every single one of these have severe transphobia, non inclusive options for genders and sexual orientations to properly include transgender people. Tinder is 1 of the worst transphobic misogynistic apps period! Only one of these sites/apps is in any way inclusive and respectful or safe place for entire transgender community that is okcupid. Problem is most the sites and apps only recognize m2f or f2m and completely ignore non gender binary trans people. Which btw makes up 70% of the transgender community so sites only allow or accept those fitting into cis culture expectations and continue to allow abuse of trans members and refuse to ban misogynistic men who commit felony hate speech and hate crimes. Tsscene has issue of being poorly designed and costing money which lets be real most transgenders due to limited job options, or cost of transitioning to be their true self can’t afford to use pay sites (same issue in rest of lgbtq community as a large portion end up with no family support sadly to help get by) these sites are so ignorant of what being trans actually means and how wide ranged the community is on different types that do not fit into 2 gender biased culture of this shitty country. Pure has problem its expensive and unaffordable and broken as well. Trans app has been broken for awhile sad cause it had a good setup and idea when launched but failed to deliver. Grindr is not trans friendly I’m a pansexual guy and let me be frank here gay men will never be okay with transgenders on their sex hookup apps. Its not cause of hate its often same reason effeminate gay men face a lot of disrespect the avg. Gay man has a very black amd white view on what’s attractive and if you don’t fit into that very narrow view of twink, jock, daddy, or bear than you’ll face the mean boys (yes like mean girls) that run the gay community and culture. I personally prefer transgender people as friends as well as dating because they are often more open minded and accepting of peoples differences. Sad truth is gay men are some of the worst closed minded bigots of them all. The site may try to be inclusive yet I worry it only puts trans People in danger more so. Both safety wise and emotionally amd psychologically facing the attitude of most gay men who still view bisexuality as a myth and just cowardly gay men unable to accept themselves. Its not fair or right but we live in reality not a fantasy world and we gotta find a way to create sites that work for trans people in society as it is not as some grand dream says it should be. Thurst was another one that idea was great but was not setup in a way to succeed
So by my personal stupidity I’ve been using Tinder hoping for open-minded people to accept trans dating. I was never more wrong and that hate that I received made me think to never use dating apps at all. Thanks for this article. Totally loving it and can’t wait to try all those apps.
Let me be honest with you, transgender dating is not easy. Nearly most of the apps at least somehow did discriminate me. The apps from the list are damn dope and I love using them. I can finally be open about who I am and forget about all the possible hate that was kinda scaring me before.
After the first season of Pose came out me, as a transgender woman was so proud that the whole light was on us for once and now these beautiful transexual dating apps that allow us to be exactly who we are. No discrimination and full freedom. The feeling is so amazing! Thanks for all the tips.
Who is in for some fun at these tranny sites??? I’ve downloaded nearly half of them and already trying them out. Hope to see you there, beautiful people! Maybe any of you have their favorite apps? I would love to try them out as well. This is so dope tho!
I never descriminate against tranny dating and these apps are awesome to try. I’ve been using just a few of them and happy that I saw this entire list. Applications are literally for everyone and even if you are not ready to pay for the dating app – you still got options.
Hey y’all! I’m so excited to finally finish my full transition and can’t wait to explore the world and dating scene as a fully proud transgender woman. This TS Scene transgender dating site looks very dope and so far within all of those stand out form me the most! See y’all there xx
Okay so I was using Trans my whole life and it is so cool to find trans dating app and not even one but so many that are supporting you to be who you are without any judgments or bullying. Love it and can’t wait to try them all. Yay!
Transexual dating is a scary thing for me because society is weird about it and I work in a huge company that won’t tolarate it but I can’t get rid of those fantasies. So really appreciate this list of apps. Now I can explore my fantasies and be myself. The security level is high and the chances of my information get leaked and equal zero. Thanks!
I think these trans dating apps look good, but Tinder definitely didn’t work for me, but maybe it’s just me. I’ve heard a lot about Pure and think that would be my choice of preferences after this entire list of useful apps. Never even heard about half of those. Might be fun.
